The Entourage Effect in Hemp Explained

Olej CBD Full Spectrum to esencja natury w najczystszej postaci. Jego zawartość najdokładniej odzwierciedla skład rośliny konopi, dzięki czemu zachodzi między jego składnikami efekt synergii, wzmacniający działanie poszczególnych elementów. Czy...

Let’s say you’re the funny friend.

Within your social circle there’s also a nice friend, a serious friend, and a super smart friend. Everyone is great on their own. But when everyone is together, the energy multiplies. You work off of each other, and you’re one big, dynamic group that’s funny, nice, serious, and super smart. This is the entourage effect—the idea that a “whole” can become even more than the sum of its individual parts.

CBD is only one of over 100 different cannabinoids produced by the cannabis plant. While the majority of these various cannabinoids have not been given the same attention and exposure that THC has, they are all components of a rich and wonderfully diverse plant. Additionally, there are numerous essential oils and a plethora of secondary components of cannabis called terpenes that naturally occur in the cannabis plant. Each one of these compounds contains their own unique makeup, footprint, and potential health benefits.

WHAT IS FULL SPECTRUM CBD?

Eir Health’s CBD products are 100% full spectrum. This means they contain all of the naturally occurring compounds in the cannabis plant, not “just” the CBD. When all of these compounds work together, they create a comprehensive, synergistic effect known as the entourage effect—magnifying the therapeutic benefits of each individual component.

On the other hand, CBD isolate is just CBD. Scientifically, it refers to CBD in its purest form. It’s a form of CBD that is rid of all of these other hundreds of cannabinoids and compounds and is as close to 100% CBD as it can possibly be. While this can have certain targeted uses, CBD isolate boasts no entourage effect, and its effects are measurably reduced.

FUNCTIONAL MIXES OF TERPENES

Some producers decide to add specially composed mixes of terpenes to their oils to achieve a specific health-promoting effect, that's why you can find mixes such as STV (stimulating) and NDC (soporific) in CBD oils. By isolating the proper terpenes and combining them, you can obtain properties similar to, for example, medical cannabis without the intoxicating effects of THC. Both the STV and NDC mixes are found in Eir Health products - CBD oil NO.9: Awake and CBD oil NO.10: Sleep. Thanks to the use of functional mixes of terpenes, both of these products are much more intuitive and effective, especially in the case of specific needs (better focus and productivity during the day or improving the quality of sleep).

MAXIMIZING RELIEF AND RESULTS

Maximizing the therapeutic effects of CBD, whether you’re treating symptoms from anxiety, cancer, migraines, insomnia or anything else, is of the utmost importance. While it’s most important in regards to your well-being, it’s also worth knowing that you’re choosing and paying for premium CBD.
